The Epic Games Store is bringing a new free game to its platform and is making the classic “DOOM 64” game available for a week to all gamers wanting the title. The free-to-play title features an enhanced experience that’s remastered for modern gaming PCs, delivering gameplay from the original “DOOM” title originally released on the Nintendo 64.

Epic Games Store has various free titles available on its platform and it recently made “DEATH 64“Available to all for free download.
It is the second spin-off title after “Final DOOM” and the fourth game in the series released four years after its initial release in 1993. This version of “DOOM 64” offers the world an enhanced version of the remastered title from the N64 Platform- form.
The game is available for free starting today, August 18, until next week Thursday, August 25, available to everyone with an Epic Games account and the app store.

How to Download ‘DOOM 64’ – System Requirements
“DOOM 64” from Nintendo 64 gives progression to the franchise’s story, focusing on the UAC research facilities on Mars that were forgotten and abandoned until something unexpected happened.
The “DOOM 64” is available through the Epic Games Store for free, and users can add it to their cart to secure its copy without downloading it yet, for those who don’t have space for its storage. Still, the game is only 279.34MB in its entirety.
Minimum System Requirements: Windows 10, Intel Core i5-750, 8GB RAM and R7 240 or GTX 660 | Intel HD 530 for its graphics card.
Recommended system requirements: Windows 10, Intel Core i5-2400 or AMD Phenom II X6 1075T 3.0GHz, 8GB RAM and GTX 780 or R9 290X for graphics.
‘DOOM’ and its famous franchise
“DOOM” is one of the most famous franchises from the early days that still sees new developments for its current releases available on different modern platforms available. However, this does not mean that gamers cannot enjoy old games using only their original consoles, as there are various remasters for these titles available for everyone.
Previously, id Software developed the famous game franchise releases for the world, but recently switched to Bethesda Softworks for modern title publishing. His latest game, “DOOM Eternal,” recently gave the world a chance to play it on PC, with the next-gen experience available to everyone in a brand-new experience.
The game may still be in development and gives the world the “DOOM” experience that audiences enjoyed early on, but it doesn’t give up on its previous titles that brought massive fame to the franchise and the developers. Now, Epic Games is offering the title for free, but only for a limited time, which players can download and own.
